It is definitely that time of year again, when everyone is trying to decide which preschool is right for their child, and which ones still have openings. Severna Park has lot of great preschools to choose from, so here is some information about the best-known to help you narrow down your choice. A Child’s Garden – Morning preschool (9-12) for ages from 18 months through 3 years, from 2-5 days per week with extended care available from 7am – 6pm. Program costs range from $60-262/week.
Asbury Community Christian Preschool – Morning (9-11:30) and afternoon (12:30-3) for ages 2 through Pre-K, from 1-5 days per week (age dependent) with extended care available from 7am – 6pm for ages 3 and up. Program costs range from $821-$3,380/year with extended care hours billed at $6.35/hr.
Celebree Learning Centers – Celebree’s Severna Park preschool program is for children ages 3-5 and can be for 2,3 or 5 full days or 5 half days, with full day hours from 6:30am – 6:30pm. Program costs range from $126/week for 2 full days to $226/week for 5 full days. Celebree also offers child care programs for children as young as 6 weeks up through the fifth grade.
Edinboro Early School – The preschool program is for ages 2 through K and can be for 2, 3 or 5 half or full days, with extended care available from 7am – 6pm. Also offers before and after school care through age 7.
Goddard School – The preschool program is for late 3’s and for Pre-K and can be for 2, 3 or 5 half or full days with full day hours from 6:30am – 6pm. Program costs range from $123/week for 2 half-days to $279 week for 5 full days. Goddard also offers child care programs for children as young as 6 weeks up through the fifth grade.
Our Shepherd – Preschool for ages 3 and 4, 2, 3 or 5 days per week from 9-12 with cost ranging from $195 to $360/monthly.
Pasadena Early Learning Center Preschool for ages 3 (9-12 T/Th w/option for 9-2 on Th in 2nd half of year – $185-235/month) and 4 (9-12 or 9-2 M,W,F – $235-360/month).
Severn School – 3 YO program for 3 or 5 half (8:15am – noon) or full days (8:15am – 3pm) and Pre-K for 5 half or full days. Extended care is available from 7:15 to 6. Preschool tuition runs from $6,725/yr for 3 half days to $14,805 for 5 full days.
Severna Park Baptist W.E.E. Center – Unfortunately, the WEE Center has announced that this will be it’s final year, so it will not be available going forward:(
Severna Park Children’s Centre – Preschool program for ages 2 through Pre-K.
Severna Park United Methodist Church Nursery School (AKA the “Snoopy School”) – Preschool programs offered for both 3 and 4-year-olds. Three-year olds: Tu/Th AM or PM ½ day programs and a three-year-old Tu/Th extended day program. Prices range from 220.00-345.00/month. Four-year olds: MWF AM or PM ½ day programs, MWF extended day program and a M-F extended day program. Prices range from 280.00-630.00/month. All children must be either 3 or 4-years of age by September 1 st for the program for which they are enrolling. Online registration via the school’s website www.severnaparkumc.org/nursery-school.
St John the Evangelist School – Offers a Pre-K-4 program for 5 half (8-11:30am) or 5 full (8am – 2:40pm) days. Program costs are $4,455/yr for the half-day preschool and $7,425/yr for the full-day program. 8am-2:40pm. Extended care is also available from 7am-6pm.
St Martin’s in-the-Field Episcopal School – 3YO program for 2, 3 or 5 half days (8:45-11:45am) or full days (8:45am-3pm) and Pre-K for 3 or 5 full days or 5 half days . Extended care is also available from 7:30am-6pm. Program costs range from $3,000/yr for 2 half days to $8,800/yr for 5 full days Pre-K.
Wee Lad & Lassie Early Learning Center – Offering half-day 2’s and 3’s (9am-noon) for 2-5 days and half-day (8:30am-noon) and full-day (8:30am-3pm) Pre-K for 3-5 days. Extended care is also available from 7am-6pm.
Woods Child Development Center – Offering 2-day 2’s (W/F or T/Th) from 9-11:30am, 2 or 3-day 3’s from 9am-noon and 2 or 3-day 4’s from 9:10am-2:30pm. Extended care is also available from 6:45am-6pm. Program costs range from $279/mo for 2-day 2’s to $536/mo for 3-day 4’s.
